Honda NX500 Deliveries Commence In India – Check Out All The Details Here
In the bustling world of adventure motorcycles in India, Honda has made a significant stride with the launch of its NX500. This premium multi-cylinder ADV bike, part of Honda's expanding multi-cylinder portfolio in India, is already turning heads with its combination of value for money, performance, and style.
With an introductory price tag of Rs 5,90,000, it offers a more enticing package compared to its sibling, the CB500X, and stands as a strong competitor against the likes of Benelli TRK 502, Kawasaki Versys 650, and Suzuki V-Strom 650.

Replacing the CB500X in Honda's Indian lineup, the NX500 has commenced deliveries, marking a significant moment for Honda in India. The CB500X, which struggled to find its footing in the Indian market due to its lack of updates compared to its global counterpart, has now been succeeded by the NX500.
This move not only addresses the previous model's shortcomings but also enriches Honda's offering with a more advanced and attractive package. The first unit of this eagerly awaited motorcycle was delivered to Col. Abhishek Mishra at Honda's premium Big Wing dealership in Gurugram, highlighting the exclusive nature of Honda's Big Wing offerings.
Honda's pricing strategy for the NX500 marks a notable shift towards offering greater value. Unlike the CB500X, which was introduced to the Indian market through the Completely Knocked Down (CKD) route with a launch price of Rs. 6.87 lakh, the NX500 is imported via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route.
Despite this, it comes with a lower price tag of Rs. 5.9 lakh (ex-showroom) and boasts superior equipment such as USD telescopic front forks, a dual disc brake setup for the front wheels, and a more visually appealing design.

Additionally, it sports a new 5-inch TFT instrument screen with Bluetooth connectivity, offering features like call controls, music controls, and navigation details, a significant upgrade over the CB500X's LCD unit.
The NX500 is not just about value and features; it also excels in performance and design. Powered by a 471cc parallel-twin cylinder engine, it churns out 47 bhp of peak power and 43 Nm of peak torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch for smooth gear transitions.

The bike's top speed exceeds 180 km/h, making it a robust performer on both highways and trails. Its hybrid ADV design leans more towards a semi-faired sports touring motorcycle, making it an attractive choice for adventure enthusiasts and tourers alike.
Available in three exciting colours - Grand Prix Red, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Pearl Horizon White - with Grand Prix Red being the standout shade, the NX500 is set to dazzle Indian roads.
The introduction of the Honda NX500 to the Indian market represents a strategic move by Honda to cement its position in the premium ADV motorcycle segment. With its competitive pricing, superior features, and robust performance, the NX500 is poised to be a game-changer in its category.
It's an exciting time for adventure touring enthusiasts in India, as they now have a compelling new option to consider for their next ride. Honda's commitment to enhancing its lineup and offering more value to Indian consumers is evident with the NX500, and it's sure to attract a lot of attention and admiration from motorcycle aficionados across the country.
