Honda Activa e Revealed - The King Of Scooters Goes Electric With 102km Range
Japanese two-wheeler giant Honda has unveiled the Activa e: electric scooter in India. Prices for the Honda Activa e will be revealed when bookings start in January 2025. The Honda Activa e will be offered in two variants: ACTIVA e: and ACTIVA e: Honda RoadSync Duo.
The Honda Activa e was launched alongside the new QC1 electric scooter and the only difference between the two scooters is that the Activa e is offered with swappable batteries while the QC1 offers a fixed battery pack. The Activa e will be available only in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai.

The Activa e is powered by two swappable battery packs that combine together for a total capacity of 3kWh. The battery packs deliver a range of 102km on a single charge and can be swapped out for fully charged units at Honda's Bex battery swap stations.
The battery packs power an in-house developed permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that produces 8bhp and 22Nm of peak torque. The Honda Activa e can sprint from 0-60km/h in 7.3 seconds and has a top speed of 80 km/h. The Activa e is offered in three riding modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport.

The Honda Activa e features a rather familiar design with a few futuristic changes that will make it appeal to the existing Activa users. At the front, low down on the front apron is the sleek LED headlight unit while the DRLS sit at the top where the headlight usually sits on the ICE Activa. The taillights too are full-LED units as well.
The Activa e rides on 12-inch alloy wheels and features a flat footboard, along with a sculpted seat with a sturdy grabrail. Honda Activa e is offered in Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Misty White, Pearl Serenity Blue, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black colours.
The Honda Activa e is offered with a a 7.0-inch TFT screen that offers real-time connectivity with Honda RoadSync Duo app. The screen supports navigation and can change its brightness and readability as per ambient light automatically. The Activa e also gets Honda's Smart Key tech which allows for connected features like Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock and Smart Start.
