Hero MotoCorp Sells 5.12 Lakh Units Of Motorcycles & Scooters In April 2024: Witnesses 32.62% YoY Growth

The Indian motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, has recorded a 32.62% YoY growth, selling 5,12,124 units in April 2024. In April of the previous year, Hero sold 3,86,173 units. The sales consist of various models ranging from commuter bikes like the Splendor, Sporty options like the Xtreme, Adventure bikes like the Xpulse and convenient scooters like the Xoom and Vida. Hero Splendor (3,20,959 units)

Topping the list, we have the Hero Splendor that sold 3,20,959 units in April 2024, which is a 21.01% growth on year over year sells when compared to the 2,65,225 units sold in April 2023. The Splendor accounts for 62.67% of Hero MotoCorp sales for April 2024.

Hero HF Deluxe (97,048 units)

Taking home second place, we have the HF Deluxe which sold 97,048 units and holds 18.95% of the list for April 2024 sales. The HF Deluxe sold 78,700 units in April 2023 which means Hero MotoCorp has received 23.31% YoY growth in sales of this motorcycle.

Hero Passion (25,751 units)

The Passion takes third place, selling 25,752 units in April 2024, which is an impressive 611.35% YoY growth when compared to the 3,620 units sold in April 2023. The Passion holds 5.03% of the sales of Hero MotoCorp for the month of April 2024.

Hero Glamour (18,747 units)

The Hero Glamour sold 18,747 units in April 2024, which is a 55.68% YoY growth as compared to April 2023’s 12,042 units sold, with the Glamour taking fourth place with 3.66% of Hero Motocorp's April 2024 sales.

Hero Destini 125 (12,596 units)

In the fifth spot, we have the Hero Destini, which accounts for 2.46% of Hero Motocorp's April 2024 sales with 12,596 units sold. This is a 108.58% YoY growth for Hero Destini when compared to the 6,039 units sold in April 2023.

Hero Xtreme 125R (12,532 units)

The Xtreme 125R, one of Hero MotoCorp’s newcomers has hit the market with great success. The Xtreme 125R sold 12,532 units in April 2024, accounting for 2.45% of Hero’s sales for the month, putting it in the sixth spot.

Hero Pleasure (11,820 units)

In Seventh place, Hero MotoCorp sold 11,820 units of the Pleasure in April 2024 which is 2.31% of the total units sold. Sales for April 2024 were 102.88% more than the previous year's 5,826 units sold in April 2023.

Hero Xoom (4,409 units)

The Hero Xoom takes the eighth spot, after managing to sell 4,409 units, which holds 0.86% of Hero MotoCorp’s sales for April 2024. Compared to April 2023, this is a -63.07% decrease in sales with 11,938 units sold.

Hero Vida (2,880 units)

In the ninth spot, and holding 0.56% of Hero’s April 2024 sales, we have the Vida which sold 2,880 units which was a 700.00% increase on Hero MotoCorp’s YoY sales of the Vida had 360 units sold in April 2023.

Hero Xpulse 200 (1,932 units)

In tenth place, we have the Xpulse from Hero. Rising popularity has made 1,932 sales in the month of April 2024, which is a 235.42% increase compared to April 2023’s 576 units sold. The Xpulse holds 0.38% of Hero’s April 2024 sales.

Hero Xtreme 160/200 (1,447 units)

Hero’s eleventh best seller is the Xtreme 160/200, which sold 1,447 units in April 2024 and accounts for 0.28% share of the list. Compared to the previous year, this is a 131.15% increase in sales for the Xtreme which sold 626 units in April 2023.

Hero Mavrick 440 (1,049 units)

The Mavrick 440 is a newcomer from Hero MotoCorp that sold 1,049 units in April 2024. Despite being new to the market, the 440 Mavrick has received decent demand, putting it 12th on the list with a 0.20% share.

Hero Karizma 210 (947 units)

In thirteen place, we have another newcomer, the Hero Karizma 210 which had 947 units sold in April 2024 and holds a 0.18% share of Hero MotoCorp’s sales for April 2024.

Hero Maestro (7 units)

Lastly, we have the Hero Maestro at number fourteen which has experienced a decrease in sales, with only 7 units being sold in April 2024 as compared to the 1,221 units sold in April 2023 which is -99.43% lower.
