Hero MotoCorp's Sales Leap By 34.7% In April 2024: Mavrick 440 Shines
Hero MotoCorp, a leading name in the two-wheeler industry, kicked off the new fiscal year with impressive sales figures. In April 2024, the company reported selling over 5,33,585 units, marking a 34.7% increase compared to April 2023, where sales were at 3.96 lakh units.
This growth is not just year-on-year but also shows a sequential increase of 9% from March 2024, which saw sales of 4,90,415 units. The detailed breakdown reveals that motorcycle sales alone accounted for 4,96,542 units in April 2024, a significant leap from the 3,68,830 units sold in April 2023.
The scooter segment also saw a positive trend, with sales reaching 37,043 units in April 2024, up from 27,277 units in the same month the previous year. Domestic sales further underscored Hero MotoCorp's market strength, with 5,13,296 units sold domestically in April 2024 compared to 3,86,184 units in April 2023.
Exports too saw a substantial boost, doubling from 9,923 units in April 2023 to 20,289 units in April 2024. Amidst this sales surge, Hero MotoCorp has also been making headlines with the launch of its flagship motorcycle, the Mavrick 440.
Deliveries for this much-anticipated model began on April 15, with Dr Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, personally handing over the bikes to customers at a special event in Gurugram.
The Mavrick 440, available exclusively through Hero's Premia dealerships, comes in three variants: Base, Mid, and Top, priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.14 lakh, and Rs 2.24 lakh respectively, all prices in ex-showroom.
