Vida V1 Plus: Affordable Electric Mobility
Priced competitively at Rs 1.15 lakh, the Vida V1 Plus emerges as a more budget-friendly option compared to its sibling, the V1 Pro, which is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh. These prices are comprehensive, including the FAME II subsidy and a portable charger.
However, for the residents in Delhi, the appeal of the V1 Pro is heightened with additional subsidies, bringing its cost down to just Rs 97,800, making it an irresistible option for many people in the national capital.

Performance and Specifications
Both the Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro are equipped with a motor capable of a peak output of 6kW. A slight distinction exists in their acceleration, with the V1 Plus taking just 0.2 seconds more than the V1 Pro to reach 40kph from a standstill.
The Vida V1 Plus houses a 3.44kWh battery pack, supporting a claimed range of 100km, slightly less than the V1 Pro's 110km range provided by its larger 3.94kWh battery pack.
Design and Features
Apart from the differences in battery size and slight variance in acceleration, the Vida V1 Plus mirrors the V1 Pro in terms of design, chassis, wheels, brakes, and even the colour touchscreen display. This uniformity ensures that customers can expect the same level of quality and aesthetics regardless of the variant they choose.

Competition in the Market
The reintroduction of the Vida V1 Plus places it in direct competition with other popular electric scooters in the market such as the Ather 450 Plus and the Ola S1 Air. With bookings now open, it remains to be seen how the Vida V1 Plus will fare against its rivals.
Hero MotoCorp's decision to bring back the Vida V1 Plus signifies the company's commitment to providing diverse options in the electric mobility sector. By offering a high-quality electric scooter at a more accessible price point, Hero MotoCorp aims to cater to a broader audience, further accelerating India's transition towards sustainable transportation solutions.
