Hero MotoCorp is set to introduce a new variant of its popular Xoom scooter in India. The Xoom Combat Edition, inspired by fighter jets, will feature a unique colour scheme and sportier design elements compared to the regular Xoom model.
The Hero Xoom Combat Edition will be draped in a new shade of silver and black, with body panels inspired by fighter jets. This design is expected to appeal to enthusiasts of aviation and young buyers alike. The special edition will likely include a range of advanced features.
Based on the ZX variant, the Combat Edition is expected to carry forward all the features offered on the ZX model. These include a projector LED headlamp, fully digital instrument cluster, cornering lights, L-shaped LED DRLs, 12-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a USB mobile charging point.
The Xoom Combat Edition will be powered by the same 110.9 cc, air-cooled engine found in the regular Xoom scooter. This engine produces a maximum power of 8.05bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 8.7Nm at 5,750rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox for smooth performance.
Additional Features
Another feature likely to be included in the Xoom Combat Edition is an engine start/stop system. This feature-loaded scooter is expected to go on sale in India within the next few days. It may be priced slightly higher than the regular Xoom ZX variant.
