Hero Mavrick 440 Launched In India At Rs 1.99 Lakh – Free Accessories Worth Rs 10,000
In a bid to conquer the 350+cc motorcycle segment in India, Hero Motocorp launched the much-awaited Hero Mavrick 440 motorcycle in India. Prices for the Hero Mavrick 440 motorcycle starts at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Since the Hero Mavrick 440 is based on the Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycle, the model comes equipped with the same 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. In the Hero Mavrick 440, this engine puts out 26bhp at 6,000rpm and 36Nm of torque at 4,000rpm.
According to Hero Motocorp, 90 per cent of the peak torque is available from 2,000rpm itself. Despite the torquey nature of the engine, the new Hero Mavrick 440 continues to come equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
That being said, despite using the same chassis as the Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycle, the new Hero Mavrick 440 motorcycle uses a more conventional 43mm telescopic suspension setup at the front. Furthermore, the Hero motorcycle uses 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.
Speaking about the wheels, it is worth mentioning that the base variant of the Hero Mavrick 440 motorcycle uses spoked 17-inch wheels and the model is available in just one shade - White.
However, the mid-spec version of the Hero Mavric 440 comes equipped with alloy wheels and is available in two shades. This version is priced at Rs 2.14 lakh (ex-showroom). That being said, the top-spec Mavrick 440 is priced at Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
To justify this premium price tag on the top-spec version of the Hero Mavric 440, the motorcycle comes equipped with features such as Bluetooth Connectivity and Diamond cut alloy wheels.
At present, Hero Motocorp has opened bookings for the new Hero Mavrick 440 motorcycle at Rs 5,000. Furthermore, deliveries of the Hero Mavrick 440 motorcycle are set to commence on April 15.
Also, to attract more buyers, Hero Motocorp has announced accessories and merchandise worth Rs 10,000 for all bookings made before March 15, 2024.
