Hero Lectro H4 & H7+ e-Cycles Launched In India – Prices Start At Rs 32,499
Hero Lectro, a key player in the electric cycle segment. The company recently launched two new e-cycles to the Indian market - the H4 and H7+. These latest models are designed with the specific needs of Indian consumers in mind, offering a blend of style, and functionality.
The H4 is priced at an introductory offer of Rs 32,499, available in Mystic Purple and Distance Red. The H7+ is slightly higher at Rs 33,499, coming in Lava Red and Storm Yellow Grey.
Both models are engineered to redefine the concept of short distance travel. They boast a detachable battery with a substantial 7.8Ah capacity, ensuring a range of up to 40 kilometres on merely a single charge and a recharge time of only 4.5 hours.
For safety, a key ignition system is integrated, providing an added security layer for users. Mr Sriram Sundresan, CEO of Firefox Bikes, expressed his excitement about the launch, emphasizing the company's mission to innovate and promote electric mobility in India.
The H4 model stands out as an economical option for residents of smaller towns, offering savings of up to Rs 40,000 annually on travel expenses. It features a versatile unisex frame, making it suitable for a wide range of riders.
The H7+, on the other hand, is tailored for the urban commuter, offering a pollution-free alternative capable of reducing around 800 kgs of CO2 emissions per year when compared to conventional vehicles.
Moreover, both electric cycles come equipped with a 250W BLDC electric motor, reaching speeds of up to 25km/h. They also have an IP67 rating, ensuring they are dust and water-resistant.
Comfort and safety enhancements include an LED display, cushioned seat, chain guard, disc brakes, and anti-skid pedals with reflectors. Notably, the H7+ features front suspensions for a smoother ride across varying terrains, supported by MTB Tyres for superior grip.
