Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Teased: A New Adventure Benchmark?
The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS has been teased on the brand's social media platforms, hinting at its imminent launch in India. This model, listed on Ducati's India website in June, is set to be the top-spec offering in the 'Multi' family. The RS version is a more track-focused iteration of the adventure tourer, featuring several upgrades to enhance performance.
Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Specifications
Globally unveiled in October last year, the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS will be imported into India as a full unit. It is powered by the 1,103 Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine from the Panigale V4. This engine produces up to 177 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 118 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. Compared to the Gran Turismo V4 engine on other Multistrada models, this one is designed for better track performance.

The new Multistrada V4 RS features revised ergonomics with higher-placed rear-set footpegs and a lower-set handlebar for a sportier riding position. Additionally, it includes new 48 mm Öhlins fully adjustable front forks with titanium nitride (TiN) coating and an Öhlins TTX36 fully adjustable rear monoshock. The bike also boasts electronic adjustability, an aluminium single-sided swingarm, and a radially-mounted Brembo Stylema braking setup.
Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Hardware
Weight reduction is another key feature of the Multistrada V4 RS. It comes with lighter 17-inch forged Marchesini alloys wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres. The overall weight is reduced by about 3 kg compared to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. Other notable features include a 6.5-inch TFT display, four power modes, wheelie control, engine brake control, bi-directional quickshifter, traction control and more.

The new Ducati Multistrada V4 RS will compete with models like the BMW M 1000 XR when it hits the market soon. Prices are expected to be around ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom) for this high-performance adventure bike.
Ducati's latest offering brings more track-bred performance to its flagship tourer by borrowing the new V4 motor from the Panigale V4. This makes it one of the sportiest ADV bikes available today.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS promises to deliver an exhilarating riding experience with its advanced hardware and powerful engine. Enthusiasts can look forward to its arrival in India soon.
