Brixton Cromwell 1200 & 1200 X Motorcycles Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 7.84 Lakh
The Brixton Cromwell 1200 has made its debut in India, priced at Rs 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom). This motorcycle combines modern technology with a classic design. It features a round LED headlight, a robust 6-litre fuel tank, and sleek side panels. The thin mudguard also serves as the tail section, giving it a unique retro appearance.
Powering the Cromwell 1200 is powered by a 1222cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine. This engine delivers 82bhp at 6,550rpm and generates 108Nm of torque at 3,100rpm. It is coupled with a six-speed gearbox. Brixton claims that this setup allows the bike to reach a top speed of 198km/h.

Features and Specifications
The Cromwell 1200 boasts several modern features, including all-LED lighting and a TFT display. Riders can benefit from USB connectivity, traction control, cruise control, ABS, and two riding modes: Eco and Sport. These features enhance both safety and convenience for riders.
The bike's structure includes a double-downtube cradle frame supported by KYB telescopic forks at the front with 120mm travel. At the rear, it has preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers. Braking is managed by twin 310mm discs at the front and a single 260mm disc at the rear. The motorcycle rides on wire-spoke rims measuring 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the back.

Brixton Cromwell 1200 X: A Scrambler Variant
Alongside the standard model, Brixton has introduced the Cromwell 1200 X in India for Rs 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom). This scrambler version shares many components with its sibling but adds unique elements like grip pads on the fuel tank and a higher handlebar. It also features a drilled aluminium cover for throttle bodies and a ribbed seat.
The Cromwell 1200 X retains the same engine specifications as its counterpart: an impressive output of 82bhp at 6,550rpm and torque of 108Nm at 3,100rpm paired with a six-speed gearbox. The frame remains consistent with KYB suspension components, ensuring smooth handling.
Limited Availability
This scrambler variant is limited to just 100 units in India. Like its sibling model, it includes advanced features such as LED lights, TFT display screens for easy navigation information access while riding, along with USB ports for charging devices on-the-go plus traction control systems ensuring stability during rides across various terrains or weather conditions alike!
Brixton Motorcycles hails from Austria but collaborates locally through Kaw Veloce Motors forming MotoHaus which will retail these bikes among others already launched here too!
