BMW Motorrad India is all set to launch its first high-end electric scooter, the BMW CE 04, tomorrow. The official launch is set for July 24, 2024. This scooter aims to revolutionise city commuting with its advanced technology and eco-friendly performance.
Futuristic Design and Performance
The CE 04 boasts a 15kW electric motor that produces 41bhp and 61Nm of torque. It can travel up to 130km on a single charge. Charging the battery fully takes just over four hours with a standard charger or one hour and forty minutes with an optional quick charger.
The scooter's design is futuristic, featuring large aprons and a flat body. It also includes a bench-like seat for easy access. The CE 04 rides on 15-inch wheels and uses 265mm discs with ABS for braking.
Advanced Features
This electric scooter offers several advanced features. It includes a 10.25-inch TFT display for connectivity and navigation, as well as a ventilated storage compartment for smartphones with a USB type-C charger. Additionally, it provides three different ride modes for enhanced safety.
The CE 04 can accelerate from 0-50kmph in just 2.6 seconds and has a top speed of 120kmph. These performance metrics make it suitable for urban commuting while offering an exciting riding experience.
Market Impact
Deliveries of the BMW CE 04 are expected to start soon after its launch, with an estimated price of around Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom.
