New BMW F 900 GS & GS Adventure Bookings Opened In India: Comes With Uprated Features & Advanced Driver Aids

BMW Motorrad India has started accepting bookings for the new BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure. These motorcycles, available as Completely Built-Up (CBU) models, can be reserved at any BMW Motorrad India dealership.

The F 900 GS and F 900 GSA are equipped with an upgraded twin-cylinder engine. This engine has been bored out to 895cc from the previous 853cc, delivering 105hp and 93Nm of torque. This represents an increase of 10hp and 1Nm over the older model.

BMW F 900 GS: Off-Road Focus

The all-new F 900 GS stands out with its unique design compared to other middleweight GS models. It shares the headlight design with the G 310 GS and is a more streamlined, off-road-focused bike. The bike features a full tank capacity of 14.5 litres and weighs in at 219kg.

Both the F 900 GS and GSA come with a comprehensive suite of electronic rider aids. These include riding modes, power modes, traction control, ABS, and a bidirectional quick-shifter. All these features are managed through a standard 6.5-inch TFT display, which is common across most large-capacity BMW models.

BMW F 900 GSA: Road-Biased ADV

The F 900 GSA serves as BMW's road-oriented middleweight adventure motorcycle. Visually more familiar, it differs from the standard GS by featuring electronic suspension instead of manually adjustable units. The F 900 GSA weighs significantly more at 246kg.

Currently, the BMW F 850 GS and F 850 GSA are priced at Rs 12.95 lakh and Rs 13.75 lakh respectively. It is anticipated that the new F 900 models will be priced higher than these existing bikes upon their launch.
