BMW F 900 GS & F 900 GS Adventure Motorcycles Launched In India
The BMW F 900 GS and BMW F 900 GS Adventure have been launched in India. These motorcycles will be available as Completely Built-up Units (CBU), with deliveries starting in October 2024.
The ex-showroom prices for these models are:

Design and Features of the New Models
The new BMW F 900 GS comes in two colour options: São Paulo Yellow for the Style Passion variant and Lightwhite/Racing Blue metallic for the GS Trophy variant. The BMW F 900 GS Adventure is available in Black Storm metallic and White Aluminium matt.
Both models have undergone a complete redesign, showcasing a dynamic look that highlights their off-road capabilities. The new tank side panels and radiator trim give the BMW F 900 GS a sleek appearance. The frame trims, featuring the GS logo, help riders maintain optimal leg contact while riding off-road. The rear section is narrower and more dynamic than previous models, enhanced by an Akrapovič rear silencer.
Enhanced Ergonomics and Performance
The ergonomic triangle of the new BMW F 900 GS has been optimised for off-road use. Handlebars are now positioned 15 mm higher than before, and Enduro footrests are placed 20 mm lower. This setup, combined with the redesigned fuel tank, offers advantages when riding on rough terrain.
The engine of both models has been upgraded to deliver more power. The 2-cylinder in-line engine generates 77 kW (105 hp) at 8,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 93 Nm at 6,750 rpm. This results in better pulling power and quicker acceleration across the speed range.
Colour Variants and Styling
The Style Passion variant of the BMW F 900 GS features São Paulo Yellow solid paint with black-coated engine parts, wheels, and forks. The red rear frame adds to its dynamic look. In contrast, the "GS Trophy" version combines Lightwhite solid paint with Racing blue metallic accents, hand protectors with aluminium brackets, and an aluminium engine guard.
For those seeking adventure-ready styling, the BMW F 900 GS Adventure in Blackstorm metallic includes black components like the engine and wheel rims. The White Aluminium matt variant also signals long-distance travel qualities with its sporty yet stylish design.
Technological Advancements
Both models feature LED headlights that offer better illumination directly in front of the motorcycle, enhancing safety during night rides. Additionally, turn indicators and control lights also utilise LED technology.
A standard large 6.5-inch TFT display provides diverse information with high-quality presentation and user-friendliness. Riders can comfortably phone, listen to music, or navigate while riding.
The new plastic fuel tank design contributes to a slimmer profile and improved ergonomics for both models. This change enhances rider comfort during extended journeys or off-road adventures.
