Bluarmor C50 Pro Helmet Intercom Launched In India At Rs 24,999

Bengaluru-based startup Bluarmor has introduced the Bluarmor C50 Pro helmet intercom system, priced Rs 24,999 Customers can book it on Bluarmor's official website, with shipping starting on September 28, 2024. The C50 Pro addresses common issues found in its predecessor, the C30, such as a bulky design and difficult-to-access buttons.

The new C50 Pro is sleeker and smaller than the C30 but comes packed with more features. Developed with feedback from users and insights from biker designers and engineers, it boasts a battery life of 16 hours on a full charge. The MagDock system allows for easy mounting of the device onto helmets without compromising aerodynamics. It also has an IP-67 rating for durability.

Advanced Communication Features

The mesh intercom system in the C50 Pro uses hardware significantly more powerful than RIDEGRIDTM 1.0. The upgraded RIDEGRIDTM 2.0 offers true HD voice clarity and improved reliability through continuous background monitoring and link strength adjustment using ALTTM (Active Link Tracking) technology. Additionally, BluArmor's eRIDEGRIDTM ensures automatic switching between technologies based on signal suitability.

RIDEGRIDTM 2.0 also supports music sharing over the mesh network, making it the first intercom in the world to offer this feature. The company has introduced Tuned by BluTM Signature Hardware, which provides HD sound quality through an end-to-end curated hardware approach. A two-level noise-suppression engine enhances audio and voice experiences.

Connectivity and Safety Enhancements

PORTWEAVETM technology allows users to connect their C50 Pro to various devices such as phones, action cameras, GPS devices, and those supporting universal intercoms. This flexibility ensures riders can maintain primary and secondary connections effortlessly.

In terms of safety, the C50 Pro features RIDEAURATM LED visibility technology that integrates an IMU-based deceleration-detection engine. This engine detects when a rider is slowing down and illuminates a brake-light pattern on the device. Riders can also enable an aircraft-like hazard-lighting pattern to alert other vehicles of their presence.

The intercom includes a crash-detection feature via an IMU-based motion-sensing engine. Upon detecting a crash, an SOS alert is sent to the rider's emergency contact through SMS or phone call. The T-Stick Wireless Controller debuts with this model as standard equipment, allowing for versatile mounting options on motorcycle handlebars or tank bags.

Bluarmor's latest offering not only improves communication but also enhances safety for riders with its advanced features and user-friendly design.
