Recently, Bengaluru's own electric vehicle pioneer, River, has made a significant stride. The company has unveiled its flagship store in the bustling neighbourhood of JP Nagar, marking an exciting chapter in its journey to revolutionize the EV space in India.

The sprawling 3,400 square-foot River Store is not just a showroom but a portal into the world of River, showcasing their flagship electric scooter, the Indie, along with a range of accessories and branded merchandise.

A Glimpse Into the River Experience

At the heart of this initiative is River's commitment to placing customers at the forefront. Aravind Mani, Co-Founder and CEO of River, emphasized the River Store's role in their ambitious customer-oriented approach.

He envisions expanding the brand's reach across over 100 cities within the next two years, while maintaining a stellar experience in both sales and after-sales services. The JP Nagar store also features a comprehensive service center, underscoring River's dedication to seamless customer support.

Vipin George, the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer behind River, expressed that the store's purpose extends beyond sales; it's a storytelling space that encapsulates the essence of the River brand.

Here, customers can intimately engage with the products, exploring the tactile and performance aspects of the Indie scooter. Nestled at No. 594, Ground Floor, Srinidhi Infinity on the 15th Cross Road of JP Nagar, the store is a cornerstone of the brand's immersive experience for visitors.

The River Indie is a marvel of electric engineering, boasting an electric motor that delivers a robust 8.98bhp and a commanding 26Nm of peak torque, all powered by a hefty 4kWh NMC aluminium-cased battery pack.

It's not just performance that sets the Indie apart; riders can enjoy an impressive 120-kilometre range on a single charge in ECO mode, and thanks to its efficient battery, it can reach 80 per cent charge in just 5 hours.

But that's not all. The Indie is a feature-rich scooter, equipped with a telescopic front suspension, a digital dashboard, sizable 14-inch wheels, and reliable disc brakes at both ends complemented by a CBS braking system. With practicality in mind, it offers a USB charger, ample glove box and underseat storage, and innovative ride modes, including a reverse mode for effortless manoeuvring.
