About The Ride

The ride commenced from the iconic Vidhana Soudha, the state capitol building. Before setting off, participants took a pledge, a collective declaration of their commitment to a drug-free life. The route traversed key locations within Bangalore, spreading the message far and wide. Finally, the rally concluded at Brindavana College, Yelahanka, marking a successful completion of the event.

The NCB Zonal Director of Karnataka, Mr. Shailendra Mishra, helped the awareness campaign and also acknowledged the participants' efforts by distributing awards to the riders. This recognition further amplified the message and instilled a sense of accomplishment amongst the bikers.

The event was held to raise awareness about drug abuse. It also served as a platform for environmental consciousness. The Green India Project, a national movement led by the Green Man of India, joined forces with the NCB.

Following the ride, the participating bikers, along with the Green India Project volunteers, actively participated in a tree-planting drive. This act highlighted the importance of environmental protection, emphasizing that a healthy life goes hand-in-hand with a healthy planet.

About the Organizers

Sardar Manmeet Singh, the Green Man of India, is a well-respected figure who has led numerous environmental initiatives, including planting over 2.5 lakh trees across the country, with the help of Green India Project. His next plan, "Bharat Ki Paryavaran Yatra," aims to further this goal through a nationwide expedition rally across 75 cities, planting 75,000 trees.

The link between the "Say No To Drugs, Say Yes To Life" ride and the tree-planting activity offers a powerful message. It highlights that a responsible life encompasses not only staying away from drugs but also a commitment to a cleaner, greener future.
