Bajaj Pulsar NS400 To Be Launched Tomorrow: Powertrain, Features & More
Bajaj is set to launch the largest model in its Pulsar series, the Pulsar NS400, on May 3, 2024. This bike has stirred interest with its online leaks and teaser videos showcasing its LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
The Pulsar NS400 will be powered by a 373cc, liquid-cooled engine with approximately 40bhp of peak power and 35Nm of peak torque. The model is also expected to come with a 6-speed manual gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch.
The teasers reveal that the model borrows several design elements from the Pulsar NS200, such as the LED headlamp, rearview mirrors, and fuel tank, among others. This approach is aimed at reducing development and production costs. However, the NS400 stands out with its dual-tone colour scheme and sporty graphics.
Noticeable design details include a large NS badge, indicating its prominence in the Pulsar series. Unlike the NS200, the NS400 sports golden USD forks, adding to its visual charm. The model also comes equipped with disc brakes on both ends and dual-channel ABS as standard.
Additional safety features like ABS, ride modes (Road, Sport, Rain, and Offroad), and traction control system enhance its safety profile. The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 also boasts a fully digital colour instrument cluster that offers connectivity features alongside essential information.

With its launch set for tomorrow, the Pulsar NS400 is anticipated to be priced competitively, possibly around Rs 2 lakh or lower, to attract buyers. The bike is expected to compete with rivals such as the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, and others in its segment.
