Bajaj Pulsar N125 Motorcycle Launch Imminent: Powertrain, Features & Other Details
Bajaj Auto is ramping up its offerings in the motorcycle segment, with the imminent introduction of the new Pulsar N125. This move comes after a year filled with significant updates across the Pulsar range and the launch of innovative models like the Pulsar NS400Z and the world's first dual-fuel CNG bike.
The Pulsar N125 is shaping up to be a strong contender in its category, going head-to-head with key rivals such as the Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125. This addition is expected to solidify Bajaj's standing in the 125cc market, which has seen significant growth.

The company's strategy to introduce more options within this segment demonstrates its commitment to catering to a wider audience and the varying preferences of motorcycle enthusiasts.
The new bike is expected to carry a distinctive muscular profile that is synonymous with the Pulsar range. Spy shots also indicate that the Pulsar N125 will feature a plethora of design elements that align with the aesthetics of the Pulsar N series.
Some of the highlights include a new LED headlamp, a sculpted fuel tank complemented by sleek tank shrouds, and uniquely designed rear-view mirrors. Other details include minimalist side-section, equipped with an underbelly exhaust, contributing to the bike's streamlined appearance.
Comfort and style go hand in hand with the Pulsar N125, which boasts a split seat design, a substantial grab rail, and a compact tail section complete with a rear tyre hugger. The bike is designed to ensure a comfortable riding experience, featuring a wide, pulled-back handlebar and centrally mounted foot pegs.
Tech enthusiasts will be pleased with the Pulsar N125's advanced onboard technology. An all-digital instrument console is likely to be part of the package, offering riders a wealth of information, including real-time and average fuel economy, gear position indicator, and distance-to-empty readout. The possibility of Bluetooth connectivity would further enhance the riding experience.
With the potential integration of the Bajaj Ride Connect app, riders might enjoy added conveniences such as managing calls, SMS, and missed call notifications directly from the digital console. While it remains to be seen whether turn-by-turn navigation will be included, the app is also expected to provide useful features like riding tips and access to the owner's manual.
Performance-wise, the Pulsar N125 likely be powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, similar to what is found in Bajaj's other 125cc offerings. This engine is known for its output of 11.8 PS and 10.8 Nm of torque, coupled with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The bike's suspension setup will feature standard telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride across varying terrains.
The Pulsar N125 is expected to come with 17-inch wheels, featuring a front disc and rear drum brake combination for the base variant, while the top-spec variant may offer disc brakes at both ends, complemented by single-channel ABS.
This blend of performance, technology, and style is set to be competitively priced, with the base model likely starting around Rs 95,000, positioning it between the existing Pulsar 125 and the slightly more expensive Pulsar NS125.
