Bajaj Freedom 125: India's First CNG Bike To Available In 88 Cities
Bajaj has introduced India's first CNG bike, the Freedom 125, expanding its availability to 88 cities. Initially launched in select areas, the bike is now being sold in 78 additional cities. This expansion coincides with Independence Day celebrations.
The Freedom 125 is powered by a 125 cc single-cylinder engine that runs on both petrol and CNG. It delivers 9.5 PS of power and 9.72 Nm of torque, with the CNG cylinder positioned under the seat. The bike has undergone 11 safety tests and is available in seven colours.

With the latest expansion, the Freedom 125 is now available in cities such as Delhi, UP West, Haryana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, and Maharashtra. However, it has not yet reached Tamil Nadu. The bike's starting price is Rs 95,000.
The Freedom 125 offers impressive mileage, travelling up to 330 km on a single fill of CNG and petrol. It provides a mileage of 100 km per kg of CNG and 65 km per litre of petrol. The bike is available in three variants: the base model at Rs 95,000, the mid variant at Rs 1.05 lakh, and the top variant at Rs 1.10 lakh.
The bike has received positive feedback for its high mileage and affordability. Many people are eager to purchase it due to its fuel efficiency. Deliveries are expected to begin in Maharashtra and Gujarat initially.
Bajaj's Strategy for Expansion
