Ather Energy Introduces Ather Care Service Plans To Reduce Electric Scooter Maintenance Costs
In response to the growing concern over the maintenance expenses of electric two-wheelers, Ather Energy has stepped in with an innovative solution. They have rolled out Ather Care service plans, explicitly designed to alleviate the financial burden of upkeep for their customers.
By offering free periodic maintenance, discounts on the replacement of wear-and-tear parts, along with additional services like ExpressCare and Polishing, Ather aims to deliver not just cost savings but also enhanced convenience to its electric scooter owners.
Recognizing the challenges owners might face once the initial three-year warranty concludes, Ather Energy has crafted three distinct Ather Care plans: Ather Care, Ather Care Plus, and Ather Care Max. Each plan is tailored to meet varying customer needs and is valid for a year or up to 10,000 kms, whichever milestone is reached first.
This strategic move ensures that all Ather scooter owners have access to comprehensive maintenance options that cater to their individual preferences and riding habits.
Breaking Down Ather Care Service Plans
The base package, Ather Care, offers two free periodic maintenances and a 10% discount on both wear and tear parts and labor for these replacements once a year. For those seeking more, Ather Care Plus elevates the offering with two periodic maintenances, one free polishing, one free wash, and greater discounts on wear and tear parts and labor, twice annually.
Meanwhile, Ather Care Max stands out as the most inclusive option. It provides two periodic maintenances, two free brake pad replacements, washes, ExpressCare services, and polishings, along with free belt lubrication. Additionally, this plan avails a 10% discount on wear and tear parts and a 15% discount on labor, both applicable twice a year.
Ather Energy has made these plans available for purchase at any of its authorized 210 Service Centers or 230 Experience Centers starting September 30, 2024. Customers can only redeem their Ather Care benefits at the dealership from which they purchased the plan, ensuring a seamless and integrated service experience.
The pricing for these plans ranges between ₹1130 and ₹2400, offering savings up to ₹5900 depending on the chosen plan and the city of purchase.
By introducing the Ather Care plans, Ather Energy directly addresses one of the primary concerns of electric vehicle (EV) owners—the perceived high cost of maintenance. These plans not only promise to make EV ownership more affordable but also aim to enhance the overall ownership experience, making it more appealing and accessible for potential customers.
