Ather 450 Apex Electric Scooters Start Reaching Dealerships – Check Out Delivery Date Here
The new Ather 450 Apex electric scooters have started reaching 50 dealership locations across the country, the electric scooter is set to start deliveries in Bengaluru, Pune, and Goa from the first week of March. This rollout underscores Ather Energy's continued commitment to enhancing the EV riding experience.
The Ather 450 Apex stands as a testament to superior performance and design, built upon the successful 450X platform. This model distinguishes itself with a striking blue paint scheme accented with orange highlights, visible through innovative transparent panels on the side.
These panels, infused with blue pigmentation, seamlessly blend with the scooter's overall aesthetic. Tarun Mehta, co-founder and CEO of Ather Energy, showcased the 450 Apex at a dealership, highlighting its availability for viewing and soon, for purchase.
Performance upgrades are notable in the 450 Apex, with its PMS motor now delivering 7kW (9.3 bhp), a step up from the 450X's 6.4kW (8.5 bhp). This boost in power translates to a quicker 0-40 kmph acceleration time of 2.9 seconds, shaving 0.4 seconds off the time set by the 450X.
The Ather 450 Apex also introduces the Magic Twist feature, an innovative regenerative braking system activated by negative throttle input. This feature not only provides more control over the scooter but also contributes to an improved claimed range of 157km on a single charge, a 7 per cent increase over the 450X.
The Ather 450 Apex is priced at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom), and it's important to note that this model does not qualify for the FAME II subsidy. This positioning suggests that the 450 Apex is tailored for the brand's most devoted fans and will be available in limited numbers until the end of this year.
