EICMA 2024: Aprilia Tuono 457 Key Features & Specifications
Aprilia has introduced the Tuono 457, a naked version of the RS 457 sportbike. This new model retains many features from its predecessor, including the engine, frame, and electronics. However, it sports a redesigned headlight and offers a more upright riding position. The Tuono 457 is expected to be available in India early next year.
The Tuono 457 shares its core components with the RS 457, such as the 457cc engine delivering 47.6hp and 43.5Nm of torque. It also includes a 6-speed gearbox and offers an optional slipper clutch and bidirectional quickshifter. The main frame, suspension, and brakes are identical between both models.

Design Differences
A key distinction lies in the headlight design of the Tuono 457. While it maintains three separate pods like the RS 457, its design is unique. The DRLs are smaller on the Tuono, and the central pod housing the headlight sets it apart from other Aprilia models.
Another minor variation is in fuel tank capacity; the Tuono's tank holds 12.7 litres compared to the RS's 13 litres. Despite this difference, both bikes weigh in at 175kg each.
Accessories and Launch Details
The Aprilia Tuono 457 comes with various accessories such as saddlebags, a tank bag, brake and clutch lever protectors, sintered brake pads, and a pillion seat cowl. These additions enhance its versatility for different riding needs.
Anticipation surrounds its launch in India early next year. Assembled locally, it's expected to be priced competitively below Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for enthusiasts seeking performance without breaking the bank.
