Aprilia Tuono 457 Could Be Launched In January 2025: Specs & Features
The Aprilia Tuono 457 is one of the most-awaited motorcycles and it is expected to be launched in India by January 2025. This model, which was unveiled at EICMA 2024, is expected to make its Indian debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo next month. The Tuono 457 is essentially a naked version of the Aprilia RS 457, sharing many components with it.
Design
The design of the Aprilia Tuono 457 is aggressive and masculine. It features LED headlamps with inset daytime running lights. The twin projector lamps are centrally stacked on a nose cowl, flanked by V-shaped LED DRLs. The bike has a large fuel tank and a sleek rear profile. However, the fuel tank capacity has been reduced to 12.7 litres from the RS 457's 13 litres.

Features
In terms of features, the Aprilia Tuono 457 is equipped with all-LED lights, traction control, multiple ride modes, ABS, and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. These features enhance both safety and convenience for riders.
Engine & Transmission
The heart of the Aprilia Tuono 457 is a 457 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers a peak power of 46.9 bhp and maximum torque of 43.5 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox for efficient transmission duties. There might be an optional quick-shifter available for this model.
Brake & Suspension
Built around a dual-beam aluminium frame, the Tuono 457 boasts upside-down front forks and an adjustable rear monoshock for pre-load settings. The bike rides on 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels fitted with wide tyres. For braking, it uses a 320mm floating disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.
Competition In India
Upon its launch in India, the Aprilia Tuono 457 will face competition from models like KTM's 390 Duke, Yamaha's MT-03, and BMW's G 310 R. These bikes are known for their performance in the streetfighter category.
The Aprilia Tuono 457 combines style with performance by incorporating advanced features while maintaining an aggressive design ethos. Its introduction to the Indian market will offer enthusiasts another exciting option in the street naked segment.
