Discover Adventure: Aprilia Tuareg 660 Prices And Features Revealed
Exciting news for adventure motorcycle enthusiasts in India! Aprilia India has disclosed the prices for its eagerly-awaited Tuareg 660, ahead of its official launch on April 16th. The adventure tourer, which will be imported via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route, has been listed on Aprilia's website, revealing its price and colour options.
The Aprilia Tuareg 660 will be available in three striking colours - Atreides Black, Canyon Sand, and Evocative Dakar Podium. For those interested in the Atreides Black and Canyon Sand variants, the price is set at Rs 18.85 lakh, while the Dakar Podium version will be slightly higher at Rs 19.16 lakh, all prices being ex-showroom.

This positions the Tuareg 660 at a premium compared to many of its competitors in the segment. The Tuareg 660 is set to rival the likes of Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, Triumph Tiger 900, BMW F 850 GS, and Honda XL750 Transalp.
For those keen on booking this adventure motorcycle, a wait time of approximately three months for delivery is expected after booking. Underneath the robust exterior, the Tuareg 660 shares its engine with the Tuono 660 and RS660, but comes with a unique steel tubular frame and a built-in subframe, making it distinctively suited for adventure touring.
The 659 cc parallel-twin engine is optimized for the Tuareg, delivering 80bhp at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 70Nm at 6,500 rpm. This tuning focuses on providing more power in the lower and mid-range. In comparison, the same engine offers 100bhp and 67Nm on the Tuono 660 and RS660.

The engine pairs with a 6-speed gearbox, with an optional quickshifter for enhanced performance. Moreover, the Tuareg 660 is equipped with advanced features to cater to the needs of adventure riders.
It includes four riding modes, with two customizable options, one specifically for off-road adventures. The ABS can be turned off for both wheels or just the rear, allowing for more control in off-road conditions. The motorcycle also boasts the Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) system, which includes Traction Control, Cruise Control, Engine Map, and Engine Brake, all accessible through a 5-inch TFT screen.
This launch marks an exciting addition to the adventure touring segment in India, offering motorcyclists a premium option equipped with advanced features and performance capabilities. With its competitive pricing and impressive specifications, the Aprilia Tuareg 660 is poised to make a significant impact.
