2024 India Bike Week: KTM 390 Enduro R Showcased
Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM has showcased the 390 Enduro R at IBW 2024 in Goa. The KTM 390 Enduro R was showcased alongside the newly revealed 390 Adventure S and is expected to be launched at Auto Expo 2025 in January.
The 390 Enduro R sees the Austrian firm send its 390 lineup down the Enduro off-roading route and the new bike is based on the most aggressive version of the new 390 Adventure lineup - the "R" and it shares most of its cycle parts with that ADV.
The KTM 390 Adventure R features a trellis frame setup suspended off an upside-down front fork and a monoshock at the rear, both of which are fully adjustable units from WP that allow for up to 230mm of travel.
Like the Adventure R, the 390 Enduro R rides on spoked wheels - 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear. Both wheels play host to disc brakes that are aided by dual-channel ABS that can be switched off by pressing a dedicated button for it.
Powering the 390 Enduro R from KTM is the firm's familiar LC4c engine that produces 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque in this form. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Changes compared to the Adventure R come in the form of a different seat and its height and the handlebars.
