New KTM 390 Adventure R Showcased! Take A Look At What All Comes New Before Its EICMA Launch
The latest iteration of the KTM 390 Adventure has been seen at this year's EICMA. The exact model in sight is the 390 Adventure R, the most premium motorcycle from the 390 Adventure series.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure Design
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R gets a whole new look while still retaining some of its original DNA. At the front, we see a lifted front mudguard and a Dakar inspired fairing.
The headlight seems to be an LED stacked unit surrounded by the DRLs in the shape of an inverted "U". We also see an extended windscreen with a slit at the top for increased airflow during those hot, tiring rallies.
Moving on to the side of the motorcycle, we see the whole rally persona of the 390 Adventure come into life. We get a longer, single-piece rally inspired seat, a longer tank with extensions, and a sleek design. KTM has also utilised its signature orange on the knuckleguards, seat, frame, and front mudguard.
All of what has been mentioned above has been built on a trellis frame, similar to other KTM models. At the front, we get adjustable forks and at the rear, we see an off-centered monoshock. For wheels, we see wired spoke rims on the motorcycle, which could be seen as a 21-19 split or 19-17 split for the front and rear wheels.
New KTM 390 Adventure Powertrain And Specifications
In terms of braking, both wheels come with disc brakes. The front disc looks like it has been covered to avoid any damage while riding off-road or on broken trails, where debris is most likely going to strike whatever is in its way. This further enhances the KTM 390 Adventure's off-road appeal.
At the bottom of the motorcycle, we see a metal bashplate to protect the 399cc engine from any small rocks that are flying its way. This engine is the same as seen on the Duke 390, but may come with a different calibration to suit its riding style. Power figures are 45.3bhp and 39Nm of torque.
For features, the new KTM 390 Adventure gets a colour TFT display, bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and cruise control. This new model of the 390 Adventure series will be showcased at EICMA on the 5th of November, 2024, soon before its India launch.
