2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 Launched In India At Rs 7.77 Lakh – Maintains Core Strength
Kawasaki India has recently launched the 2024 version of the Versys 650 motorcycle in the Indian market at Rs. 7.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This Japanese adventure tourer is renowned for its performance and versatility, catering to the needs of adventure enthusiasts and long-distance riders alike.
The newly launched 2024 iteration of the Kawasaki Versys 650 brings with it a refreshing change in aesthetics, featuring two new dual-tone paint schemes - Metallic Flat Spark Black and Metallic Matte Dark Gray. These schemes are accentuated with vibrant primary colours, red and green, complemented by contrasting black paint.
Additionally, a white line adorns the side panels and headlight cowl, enhancing the adventure motorcycle's visual appeal. Despite these cosmetic updates, the 2024 model remains mechanically identical to its predecessor.
Powering the 2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 is the same reliable 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, capable of producing 65.7bhp and 61Nm of torque. This power unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox, equipped with a slipper clutch, ensuring smooth and responsive gear shifts.
Features-wise, the 2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 motorcycle continues to offer a suite of features including LED illumination, a TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, a USB charging port, switchable traction control, and ABS.
The Versys 650's hardware setup includes USD forks with preload and rebound adjustability, allowing riders to tailor the bike's response. Braking is managed by dual 300mm front and a single 250mm rear disc, supported by 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tyres.
