2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Launched In India At Rs 1.38 Lakh
Hero MotoCorp has introduced the 2024 Xtreme 160R 4V in India, priced at Rs. 1,38,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new model is Rs. 2,000 more expensive than the previous Premium variant. The motorcycle features minor cosmetic updates and additional functionalities.
The bodywork of the 2024 Xtreme remains largely unchanged but now includes a new Kevlar Brown colour option. The existing Neon Shooting Star and Stealth Black colour schemes from the previous model are still available. These aesthetic updates are complemented by significant feature enhancements.

New Safety Features
Hero has upgraded the safety features of the Xtreme 160R 4V by adding dual-channel ABS and a panic brake alert system. Additionally, a new drag race timer allows riders to record their 0-60kmph sprint times. These improvements aim to enhance rider safety and performance tracking.
Another notable change is the introduction of a single-piece seat, replacing the split-type seat from the previous model. This modification is intended to improve pillion comfort during rides.

Engine and Cycle Parts
The engine and cycle parts of the Xtreme 160R 4V remain unchanged from its predecessor. It continues to be powered by a 163.2cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that delivers 16.6bhp and 14.6Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox for smooth transmission.
The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels supported by USD forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are managed by single discs on both ends, ensuring reliable stopping power.
Overall, these updates make the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V a more appealing option for riders seeking enhanced safety features and improved comfort without compromising on performance.
