Innovation Takes Center Stage: Wardwizard Collaborates With A&S Power for Next-Gen Li-ion Tech
Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd., an Indian electric vehicle manufacturer known for its brand 'Joy e-bike', has taken a significant step towards establishing its EV Ancillary Cluster by entering into a long-term Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with A&S Power, a well-known technology provider.
This partnership aims to drive research, innovation, and the development of advanced Next-Generation Li-ion cell technology. The ultimate goal is to make Joy e-bike the hub of India's first EV Ancillary Cluster in Gujarat.
These recent developments highlight Wardwizard's continuous efforts to improve its product offerings and achieve its vision of establishing an EV Ancillary. This strategic move aligns with the establishment of Wardwizard Global Pte Ltd., the R&D Centre of Excellence based in Singapore.
Another noteworthy milestone on this journey is the commencement of Phase I development of EV Ancillary Cluster, which includes a 1GWh capacity. This progress brings Wardwizard closer to fulfilling its larger vision of sustainable EV manufacturing in India.
Wardwizard Cells has also obtained the prestigious Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification for their Li-ion cells produced at their state-of-the-art factory. This certification underscores their commitment to excellence.
Through rigorous in-house testing, Wardwizard has developed cells with improved electrochemical properties that demonstrate higher absolute capacity and less deterioration over long-term cycling compared to others in the market. The BIS certification recognizes Wardwizard's Li-ion cells for their superior quality, reliability, and adherence to industry-leading standards.
This collaboration will extend further into ongoing research and development as well as joint technological innovation at Wardwizard's Global advanced Li-ion cell Research Centre located in Singapore.
The focus will be on increasing production capacity and streamlining the efficient supply of high-quality next-gen Li-ion cells. A&S Power will also provide technical assistance in establishing a collaborative production line, enabling Wardwizard to expand its manufacturing capabilities within India.
