Upcoming TVS Apache 310 Street Teased – Slim & Mean
TVS Motor is looking forward to utilising the most of the sales push achieved during this upcoming festive season by introducing new models and attracting as many buyers as possible.
The Hosur-based manufacturer recently launched the TVS X electric scooter, and the company is now looking forward to launching the TVS Apache 310 Street next month. This upcoming motorcycle is expected to be the naked version of the TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycle.
TVS Motor has already commenced pre-bookings for the upcoming TVS Apache 310 Street motorcycle and the company has high hopes for the model in the Indian market. Also, the company recently released the teaser for the upcoming TVS Apache 310 Street, which revealed a few interesting details regarding the motorcycle.
Analysing the latest teaser, the upcoming TVS Apache 310 Street motorcycle is not expected to be a rebadged version of the BMW G 310 R. In fact, we expect the Apache 310 Street to feature a completely different front and rear section.
Interesting details on the TVS Apache 310 Street teaser include split LED DRLs and taillamps. Other than that, the upcoming TVS Apache 310 Street will come equipped with USD forks at the front, new lightweight alloy wheels, and a redesigned side-slung exhaust system.
That being said, the TVS Apache 310 Steet will utilise most of the hardware bits such as the chassis, suspension, and powertrain from the likes of TVS Apache RR 310 and BMW G 310 R motorcycles.
As mentioned, the upcoming TVS Apache 310 Street will be powered by the same 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that powers the TVS Apache RR310 motorcycle. This engine is likely to be tuned to produce 34bhp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm.
Furthermore, this engine will comply with the latest BS6 Phase 2 emission regulations and the powertrain is also expected to be compatible with the newer E20 fuel. Apart from that, this engine will come mated to the same 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
Thoughts: The upcoming TVS Apache 310 Street is expected to be priced at around Rs 2.50 lakh. At this price point, we expect this model to offer tremendous value for money.
