The off-road motorcycle and adventure motorcycle market in India has been booming at a steady rate. As such, motorcycle manufacturers in India are currently developing new off-road and adventure motorcycles to fill this expanding market. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is one of the most-anticipated motorcycles. Recent spy shots of the Himalayan 450 motorcycle suggest that the model has reached the final production form.
Powering the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is an all-new 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is expected to produce around 35bhp and 40Nm of torque. Other than that, the model will come with a 6-speed gearbox, USD forks and a new circular digital instrument cluster.
Next-Gen KTM 390 Adventure: The upcoming next-generation KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle is expected to be launched very soon in the country. This new model will come with revised styling and an all-new powertrain.
That being said, the next-generation KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle will sport a new 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and a 6-speed gearbox. This new powertrain is expected to produce more than 45bhp and 40Nm of torque.
Triumph Scrambler 400X: Triumph had earlier unveiled the Scrambler 400X scrambler motorcycle along with the Scrambler 400 motorcycle. However, unlike the Speed 400, the Scrambler 400X motorcycle is yet to be launched in India.
That being said, the Scrambler 400X motorcycle will be powered by the same 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine as the Speed 400 motorcycle. This engine produces 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm of torque.
Royal Enfield 'Scram 450': Royal Enfield is also likely to launch a scrambler version of the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 motorcycle in India. This motorcycle will feature slightly more road-focused hardware bits and come with a lower price tag.
