Ultraviolette F77's Record-breaking Ride: 6,727 Kilometres In 22 Days
Bengaluru-based startup EV maker, Ultraviolette made a stellar entry into the record books. Thanks to an early customer, the maiden electric motorcycle of the brand, Ultraviolette F77, covered an extraordinary distance of 6,727 km within merely 22 days.
Ridden by owner Baala Manikandan, this incredible journey earned F77 a meritorious place in both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records. Notably, F77 became the first-ever electric motorcycle to achieve such a noteworthy recognition.

Baala’s expedition was initiated on May 21 from Chennai and concluded on June 12 in Bengaluru. Manikandan crossed 14 states, overcame challenging terrains, managed extreme weather, and carried 55 kg baggage - all whilst astride the F77.
Equipped with three different power and range settings namely, Glide, Combat, and Ballistic, Manikandan admitted to mostly using the Combat mode in his travel. Ultraviolette states that F77 helped save approximately 270 litres of petrol, with cost savings of over Rs 27,000.

F77 sports numerous impressive features like a 5.0-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, LED lighting, ride analytics, etc. Priced starting from Rs 3.8 lakh, Its IDC range is 307 km on full charge, with a top speed reaching 152km/h.
The outstanding journey of F77, ridden by Baala Manikandan, breaks conventional myths around range anxiety associated with electric vehicles. This instance indeed highlights the potential of electric motorcycles, inspiring the advent of a more sustainable future with electric mobility.
