Two-Wheeler Sales, July 2023 – Domestic Sales Figures Plummet
The Indian two-wheeler segment has witnessed more than a 7 per cent dip in YoY sales figures during the month of July 2023. That being said, here are the sales figures of all the two-wheeler manufacturers in India.
Hero MotoCorp (3,71,204 units)
Hero MotoCorp continues to be the best-selling two-wheeler manufacturer in India. In July 2023, Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 3,71,204 units of its two-wheelers in India, resulting in a YoY degrowth of more than 13 per cent.

Honda (3,10,867 units)
Though Honda has been coming very closer to Hero MotoCop in terms of sales figures, the Japanese manufacturer is yet to overtake the Indian two-wheeler giant. However, the company witnessed an almost 23 per cent dip in YoY sales as it managed to sell just 3,10,867 units of its two-wheelers in July 2023.

TVS (2,35,230 units)
TVS managed to witness a positive YoY sales growth in July 2023 after it managed to sell 2,35,230 units of its two-wheelers. In fact, TVS managed to witness an YoY sales growth of more than 16 per cent in July 2023.

Bajaj (1,41,990 units)
Much like Hero MotoCorp and Honda, Bajaj also witnessed a slump in the YoY sales figures as the company managed to sell just 1,41,990 units of its two-wheelers in July 2023. Thanks to this sales performance, YoY sales numbers went down by more than 13.5 per cent.

Suzuki (80,309 units)
In July 2023, Suzuki witnessed an almost 32 per cent increase in YoY sales figures as the Japanese automaker managed to sell 80,309 units of its two-wheelers in India. We expect this sales momentum to help the company further boost its sales during the upcoming festive season.

Royal Enfield (66,062 units)
Royal Enfield has shown tremendous growth in recent months. In July 2023, Royal Enfield managed to sell 66,062 units of its two-wheelers in India. This sales performance has resulted in a YoY sales growth of almost 42 per cent.

Thoughts About Two-Wheeler Sales In July 2023
The Indian two-wheeler market is expected to recover well in the coming months due to the additional sales push ahead of the festive season. That being said, we do not expect to see any changes in this order.
