TVS Upcoming Electric Scooter Features Teased – Likely To Be Packed With Tech
TVS Motor has once again teased its upcoming electric scooter ahead of its launch. This upcoming electric scooter from TVS Motor is widely reported to be the production version of the TVS Creon concept scooter.
Looking at the latest teaser, TVS Motor teased the smartwatch connectivity features of this upcoming electric scooter along with its large full-colour TFT display. This means the upcoming electric scooter will be packed with new-gen connectivity features.
Speaking about the TVS Creon concept, the concept model was revealed a few years ago and it attracted plenty of attention with its distinct design. In fact, the design of the Creon Concept scooter neatly integrated the elements of a scooter and a motorcycle seamlessly.
Such a design resulted in an electric scooter that looked very sporty yet usable in everyday conditions. Also, some of the noticeable design details on the TVS Creon electric scooter include its vertically-positioned LED lights, exposed handlebar with floating digital display, and a raised rear section with off-set mono suspension.
However, the most interesting design highlight of the TVS Creon concept scooter was its perimeter frame. This looked 'space-age' compared to conventional scooters. This design especially contributed to the sporty appeal.
This perimeter frame in the TVS Creon concept also seems to hold the battery pack. As such, we expect this battery pack to be bigger than the battery pack in the TVS iQube ST electric scooter (5.1kWh).
In fact, we expect the battery pack in the TVS Creon electric scooter to be at least 7kWh in capacity. Along with that, we also expect the TVS Creon electric scooter to sport a 10kW electric motor with enough performance to rival 150cc motorcycles.
Thoughts: The Indian electric scooter market has been steadily expanding and a new more premium electric scooter will help the company attract more customers. Also, such a product will give TVS a slight edge over other EV makers in the country.
That being said, with electric scooters such as Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 and Simple One, we expect the benchmark for the TVS Creon concept-based electric scooter to be quite high, which is good news for EV buyers.
