TVS Apache RTR 310 Production Commenced – Check Out All Details Here
TVS Motor Company commenced the production of the newly launched TVS Apache RTR 310 motorcycle at the company's manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. That being said, the model is expected to soon reach TVS dealerships across the country.
Priced at Rs 2.43 lakh (ex-showroom), the newly launched TVS Apache RTR 310 motorcycle is approximately Rs 29,000 more affordable than the fully faired TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycle.
Speaking about the TVS Apache RTR 310, the motorcycle is powered by the same 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the Apache RR310 motorcycle. However, in the Apache RTR 310, this engine produces slightly less power and torque at 35bhp at 9,700rpm and 28.7Nm of torque at 6,650rpm.
On top of that, this engine also comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip & assist clutch, and a bi-directional quickshifter. We expect both of these features will complement the sporty nature of the Apache RTR 310 motorcycle.
Thanks to this powertrain setup, the new TVS Apache RTR 310 is quite a punchy motorcycle with a 0-60km/h sprint taking just 2.81 seconds. Moreover, the motorcycle can hit a top speed of around 150km/h.
In terms of hardware, the new TVS Apache RTR 310 uses a similar trellis frame as the Apache RR 310. However, the rear subframe is quite different as it sharply raises upwards. Apart from that, the model uses adjustable USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
Also, noticeable features on the new TVS Apache RTR 310 motorcycle include a new landscape-oriented 5.0-inch TFT screen, all-LED lighting, cruise control, TPMS, dual-channel ABS, dynamic stability control, and much more.
Thoughts About The TVS Apache RTR 310 Motorcycle
The new TVS Apache RTR 310 motorcycle is a lot more affordable than the TVS Apache RR310 motorcycle. Also, given the tried-and-tested hardware, we expect this new motorcycle to quickly become a best-seller in its segment.
