TVS Apache RTR 310 Launched: Prices Start At Rs 2.43 Lakh - The New Naked King?
TVS Apache RTR 310 launched at Rs 2.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new TVS Apache RTR 310 is the naked streetfighter sibling to the Apache RR 310 and was launched at an event in Bangkok, Thailand.
The new TVS Apache RTR 310 is the new naked flagship motorcycle from the Tamil Nadu-based brand and comes in at around Rs 29,000 more affordable than its fared sibling.

Like the Apache RR 310, the new RTR 310 is powered by a 312.2cc single-cylinder engine shared with BMW's G 310 lineup. In the TVS Apache RTR 310 this engine has been tuned and refined to develop a slight bit more power and torque.
The single-cylinder powerplant pushes out 35bhp at 9700rpm and 28.7Nm at 6650rpm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox which benefits from a slipper and assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

According to TVS' claims the all-new Apache RTR 310 naked streetfighter sprints from 0-60km/h in 2.81 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 150km/h.
The RTR 310 sports a revised frame as well compared to the RR along with adjustable USD front and monoshock rear suspension setups. The suspension setup features adjustment for preload, compression and rebound.

The TVS Apache RTR 310 rides on 17-inch dual-compound radial tyres. Helping bring the new Apache RTR 310 to a stop are disc brakes on both ends that are aided by dual-channel ABS.
The TVS Apache RTR 310 sports a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) that takes care of other functions like cornering ABS, cornering traction control and cornering cruise control. The RTR 310 also sports multiple riding modes, a tyre pressure monitoring setup and climate control for the split seat setup.

In terms of design, the RTR 310 is a very aggressive-looking naked streetfighter. it features a split LED headlight setup along with a muscular fuel tank with sharp edgy shrouds that protude towards the front of the bike.
Other features include a 5-inch TFT display, a chunky exhaust that looks to be the same unit seen on the RR 310 and a raised tail section that ends in a split LED taillight setup.
