TORK Motors Transforms Urban Commuting With ECO+ Mode
TORK Motors launched the ECO+ ride mode for its KRATOS R electric motorcycle. With this mode, riders can get over 150km out of a single charge.
Bringing the KRATOS R's realistic range considerably nearer to its projected 180km per charge according to IDC, the ECO+ mode enhances the bike's adaptability. The three existing riding alternatives; ECO, CITY & SPORT, already provide a broad performance and efficiency range to motorcycles.
ECO+, designed for a maximum speed of 35km/h, fits urban riders' needs perfectly, where efficiency often outperforms speed, particularly in heavy city traffic situations.
Kapil Shelke, Founder & CEO at TORK Motors, praised the fresh feature by stating that the ECO+ mode was added in response to customer demand. Riders desired extended city driving range while maintaining the option for higher performance.
This mode offers the desired flexibility and improved versatility to the KRATOS R. Riders can maximize the range using ECO+ or experience the full power of SPORT mode with a simple switch. In addition, ECO and CITY modes provide intermediate alternatives.
Each new KRATOS R comes with these four adaptable riding modes and an extra reverse mode adding convenience during parking. Existing KRATOS R owners will also have access to the ECO+ mode. The core of KRATOS R contains the proprietary 9kW 'Axial Flux' motor, exhibiting a maximum torque of 38Nm and an exceptional 96% efficiency.
Combined with an IP67-rated 4.0 kWh Li-ion battery pack, it provides an impressive IDC ranging up to 180km. Best known for its innovative design and solid powertrain, the KRATOS R stands as a superior urban motorcycle that excels in performance, efficiency, and handling.
