Top 10 Motorcycles In September 2023 – Hero Splendor Continues To Dominate

The Indian motorcycle market is among the biggest in the world and its September 2023 sales figures also reflect the same.

That being said, here's a list of the top 10 bikes sold in September 2023. In this list, we can see that most motorcycles have witnessed positive YoY sales growth.

Hero Splendor

Hero Splendor (3,19,692 units)

The Hero Splendor motorcycle continues to dominate the Indian motorcycle industry. In terms of numbers, Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 3,19,692 units of Splendor motorcycles in September 2023. Thanks to this strong sales performance, YoY sales figures improved by almost 10.3 per cent.

Honda Shine

Honda Shine (1,61,544 units)

The Honda Shine continues to be one of the best-selling motorcycles in the country. In September 2023, Honda managed to sell 1,61,544 units of Shine motorcycles in the country, resulting in an 8.63 per cent increment in YoY sales figures.

Bajaj Pulsar

Bajaj Pulsar (1,20,126 units)

The launch of new Pulsar models seems to have worked positively as the Pulsar range witnessed a 32.47 per cent hike in YoY sales figures. In terms of numbers, Bajaj managed to sell 1,20,126 units of Pulsar motorcycles in September 2023.

Hero HF Deluxe

Hero HF Deluxe (84,188 units)

The Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle continues to be a favourite for many commuter segment motorcycle buyers. In September 2023, Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 84,188 units of Hero HF Deluxe motorcycles in India, resulting in a YoY sales increase of more than 15.2 per cent.

TVS Raider

TVS Raider (48,753 units)

TVS Raider quickly gained traction in the Indian motorcycle segment and the model even witnessed more than 15 per cent YoY sales increment. Numbers-wise, TVS Motor managed to sell 48,615 units of Raider motorcycles in September 2023.

Bajaj Platina

Bajaj Platina (48,615 units)

The Bajaj Platina is very well-known for its outstanding fuel efficiency figure, as such, the model continues to be a favourite in the commuter segment. In September 2023, Bajaj managed to sell 48,615 units of Plantina motorcycles in India, resulting in a YoY sales increase of 19.47 per cent.

Hero Passion

Hero Passion (36,230 units)

Despite the recent update, the YoY sales figure for the Hero Passion motorcycle dipped by more than 4.7 per cent. In terms of numbers, Hero MotoCorp managed to sell just 36,230 units of Passion motorcycles in September 2023.

Hero Glamour

Hero Glamour (35,578 units)

Hero Glamour once used to be one of the best-selling 125cc motorcycles in the country. In September 2023, Hero MotoCorp managed to sell 35,578 units of Glamour motorcycles in the country, resulting in a 13.35 per cent increase in YoY sales figures.

TVS Apache

TVS Apache (26,774 units)

TVS Motor managed to boost the sales figures for the Apache range of motorcycles by almost 42 per cent this September 2023. Numbers-wise, TVS Motor managed to sell 26,774 units of the Apache range of motorcycles in India.

RE Classic 350

RE Classic 350 (26,033 units)

The Royal Enfield Classic continues to be the best-selling model of the automaker. In September 2023, Royal Enfield managed to sell 26,033 units of Classic 350 motorcycles, resulting in a 0.44 per cent decline in YoY sales numbers.
