Suzuki e-Burgman Showcased At The Japan Mobility Show
Suzuki Motor Corporation has showcased the new Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter at the Japan Mobility Show 2023.
Though the Suzuki Burgman electric scooter is still in its concept form, the model has already been spotted testing a few times in India. However, the more advanced testing phase is said to be conducted in Tokyo, Japan.

This testing will help Suzuki collect valuable information and insights through analysing a series of daily activities such as going to the office, school, and shopping. Also, this collected data will help Suzuki further refine the upcoming e-Burgman electric scooter.
According to Suzuki, the e-Burgman concept electric scooter is classified as a Class-2 light electric scooter, and according to Suzuki, the e-Burgman electric scooter sports a single electric motor with 4kW of peak output, 0.98kW rated output, and 18Nm of peak torque.

However, the range of the Suzuki e-Burgman electric scooter is quite low at just 44 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack. Suzuki had earlier revealed that the e-Burgman electric scooter measures 1,825mm long, 765mm wide, and 1,140mm tall.
It is also worth mentioning that, Suzuki is part of the Battery Consortium for Electric Scooters. This Consortium is currently working on standardizing swappable battery packs and replacement systems for EVs and includes the likes of Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha.
Thoughts About The Suzuki e-Burgman Electric Scooter
Though the specifications of the Suzuki e-Burgman may not be impressive, we expect the battery-swapping technology in the model to be a viable solution if implemented on a large scale throughout the country.
