Simple Dot One Electric Scooter To Be Priced Under Rs 1 lakh: The New Competitor For Ola S1 X
The Indian EV market is about to witness the arrival of an exciting new entrant. Bengaluru-based startup, Simple Energy, has announced the launch of its new electric scooter, the Simple Dot One.
Slated for a debut on December 15, 2023, the Simple Dot One is expected to bring significant competition to the Ola S1 X, with a price tag under Rs 1 lakh.
Details About The Simple Dot One
The Simple Dot One electric scooter will sit below the Simple One EV in the product lineup. The bookings for the EV will commence from December 15, 2023, and deliveries are expected to start by January 2024.
The Simple Dot One will be based on the same platform as the Simple One and comes with a fixed 3.7 kWh battery pack that promises 151 kilometers of certified range and 160km in IDC.
Design & Features Of Simple Dot One
The Simple Dot One is expected to mimic the Simple One, albeit with minor cosmetic changes. While it might not feature disc brakes, it is likely to feature drum brakes with CBS. The scooter is also expected to sport telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
Features in the new Simple Dot One electric scooter include a touchscreen instrument cluster with app connectivity, all LED lighting, navigation, Bluetooth integration with phone and message notifications, and much more.
