Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Name Trademarked – Here’s Everything You Need To Know
Royal Enfield recently trademarked the name 'Guerrilla 450'. We expect this new name to be used for the upcoming Himalayan 450 motorcycle. Also, the latest spy shots reveal plenty of details regarding this upcoming motorcycle.
Analysing the spied images, the design of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 looks like an evolution of the outgoing Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle. Some of the noticeable design features include a fixed headlamp, a large fuel tank, split seats, mid-set footpegs and off-road-friendly elements.
Furthermore, these spy shots also hint at potential features on the upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 motorcycle. These features include an all-new circular digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS and more. On top of that, we also expect multiple ride modes as well.
In terms of hardware, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will come equipped with premium hardware bits such as USD forks at the front, semi-adjustable monoshock at the rear, and larger front and rear disc brakes.
That being said, the biggest talking point about the upcoming Guerrilla 450 motorcycle is its powertrain. This new powertrain will sport liquid cooling as well. Also, this single-cylinder engine is said to be around 450cc and is expected to produce approximately 35bhp and 40Nm of peak torque.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Royal Guerrilla 450 is expected to feature a 6-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch. This extra cog will also help the motorcycle with better cruising ability.
When launched, the upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will be positioned above the outgoing Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle rather than replacing it. Also, this new model is expected to compete against the likes of other adventure motorcycles such as the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G310 GS, etc.
