Royal Enfield Bobber 350 Spotted Testing – Gets Tall Handlebar & Massive Rear Brakes

Royal Enfield has been spotted testing the upcoming 'Bobber 350' motorcycle in India. This new motorcycle will be based on the outgoing Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle and the model is expected to be launched in 2024.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 motorcycle is part of the manufacturer's plans to expand its product lineup using the existing platforms. Moreover, we expect this upcoming motorcycle to be positioned above the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Analysing the spied images, the upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 looks more like a modified Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle. This is to be expected as the Bobber 350 motorcycle is based on the Classic 350 motorcycle, however, we expect more design changes to be introduced on the production version.

Some of the interesting details on the upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 motorcycle include white-walled tyres, tall handlebars, and a new LED headlight that is identical to the one in the recently launched Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 motorcycle.

However, a closer look reveals a few more crucial changes. These changes on the upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 motorcycle compared to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle include a different exhaust unit and a bigger rear disc brake (likely to be a 300mm unit from the Super Meteor 650).

Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350 will use the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle. This engine in the latter is tuned to produce 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm, and 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm.

Given the premium positioning of the upcoming Royal Enfield Bobber 350, we expect the motorcycle to feature more sophisticated USD forks at the front. However, the rear section is likely to use the twin shock setup as the Classic 350 motorcycle.

Thoughts About The Royal Enfield Bobber 350 Motorcycle

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to be the best-selling product in the company's product portfolio. As such, a new motorcycle based on the same model is likely to boost the overall sales figures for the automaker.

That being said, we expect Royal Enfield to launch the Bobber 350 motorcycle in 2024, and the production model is likely to feature more design changes and some more premium hardware bits such as USD forks.
