Guide to New Horizons: C Suresh Joins Motorcycle EV Startup Raptee!
Raptee, a premium electric vehicle (EV) motorcycle startup, has revealed the appointment of Mr. C Suresh as its new Head of Operations. In this role, he will oversee a range of operations such as manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain management while also leading efforts to build a high-performing team and establish new production facilities for Raptee motorcycles.
Boasting over 25 years of industry experience, Suresh has previously worked with established automobile brands like TVS Motors, Royal Enfield, and Mahindra. In addition, he has also had a stint with electric vehicle manufacturers, Ather and Ola Electric.

During his tenure, he played a vital role in the rollout of renowned products such as RE Classic 500, Ather 450, and Ola S1 — all of which garnered immense acclaim from consumers. His customer-centric approach towards product development, involving diligent interaction and feedback sessions, was instrumental in this success.
Dinesh Arjun, founder and CEO of Raptee, expressed his enthusiasm about Suresh joining the team. "We are delighted to have Suresh join us. With Suresh's track record of successfully overseeing more than 13 new product launches, his appointment is sure to bolster Raptee's growth strategy ahead of its impending motorcycle launch. Not only does he have a deep understanding of the automotive industry but his experience lies both in domestic and international markets, managing relationships with over 200 suppliers across India, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, and Europe.

Raptee is all set to debut its first motorcycle early next year. The company plans on a range of technologically advanced and premium two-wheelers with a unique on-board charger that will be compatible with CCS2 charging stations. The motorcycle is indigenously designed and developed in India, with Raptee owning more than 45 patents to date.
The premium motorcycles assure advanced features like Bluetooth connectivity, throttle mapping, and blind-spot detection for optimal rider safety. The company recently completed a successful $3 million Pre-Series A round and has established a new factory in Chennai.
