Ola Electric Trademarks Its Upcoming Electric Motorcycles – Here’s What We Know So Far
Ola Electric unveiled its upcoming electric motorcycles during the 77th Independence Day of India. In fact, Ola Electric unveiled not one but four new electric motorcycle concepts - Covering a wide range of customer preferences and requirements.
Now, Ola Electric has trademarked the names of these 4 new upcoming electric motorcycles. According to the documents, Ola Electric has named its upcoming electric motorcycles M1 Roadster, M1 Cruiser, M1 Adventure, and M1 Cyber Racer.
What's even more interesting is that the company has also trademarked names such as M0 Diamond Hill and Diamond Head. Out of these two, the 'Diamond Head' name was trademarked last year itself.
That being said, as per the details revealed by Ola Electric during the unveiling event, these motorcycles are called Ola Roadster, Ola Cruiser, Ola Adventure, and Ola Diamondhead. As such, we expect the supersport-type model to use the 'Diamondhead' nameplate in the future.
Starting with the Ola Roadster, this model is a naked motorcycle that looks very futuristic. It is also the simplest-looking motorcycle of the bunch. Standout features include more sophisticated USD forks at the front and a more neutral riding stance.
On the other hand, the Ola Cruiser concept looks very distinct compared to other cruiser motorcycles. Some of the noticeable design details include a thick suspension cover on the telescopic front suspension and a long swingarm.
The Ola Adventure is yet another concept electric motorcycle and this iteration is expected to sport a larger battery pack to give the model additional range given its positioning in the market. Like the Ola Roadster, the Ola Adventure also features USD forks at the front.
Finally, the Ola Diamondhead is a supersport motorcycle and it is the most unique-looking motorcycle of the bunch. The model also seems to feature a very sophisticated duolever front suspension. We also expect the Ola Diamondhead to be the most expensive model.
That being said, some of the common traits among these Ola motorcycles include a large touchscreen interface system, dual front discs, a rear disc brake, mono rear suspension, and a futuristic design theme.
Thoughts: Ola Electric's upcoming electric motorcycles are expected to attract plenty of new-generation motorcycle buyers in the country. As such, we do not have any doubt that Ola Electric will be one of the top 3 two-wheeler manufacturers in India.
