Next-Generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Launch Today – Expected Powertrain, Features & More

Royal Enfield is all geared up for the launch of the next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350. This upcoming motorcycle is among the most awaited motorcycles of this year and the model is expected to be launched on September 1.

That being said, the upcoming next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle is surrounded by numerous speculations. As such, here are our expectations regarding the upcoming next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle.

Starting with the platform, we expect the upcoming next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle to be built on Royal Enfield's J-Series platform. This is the same platform that underpins current Royal Enfield models such as the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350.

Thanks to this platform, the upcoming next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will sport a new twin-downtube frame. This new frame is expected to provide the next-generation Bullet 350 motorcycle with significantly improved handling dynamics.

Apart from the improved chassis, the upcoming next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will also sport the new 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected petrol engine from the likes of other J-Series Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Thanks to the updated emission standards, this new engine will also comply with the latest BS6 Phase 2 emission norms and come equipped with the latest OBD2 port. This engine is tuned to produce 20.2bhp and 27Nm of peak torque.

That being said, the next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox. However, we expect the model to sport slightly different gear ratios compared to other Royal Enfield J-series motorcycles.

In terms of features, the upcoming next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle is expected to come with a part analogue part digital instrument cluster. However, we do not expect the company to provide the 'Tripper' navigation module even as an accessory.

Design-wise, Royal Enfield is expected to retain as many design traits of the outgoing Bullet 350 motorcycle as possible. This will include the likes of single-seat, winged badge on the tank, round headlamps with pilot lamps, rear taillamp with integrated reflector and a few more.

That being said, the next-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will continue to be positioned in between the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycles. However, expect a slight price compared to the outgoing model.
