Honda Activa Limited Edition Scooter Launched In India At Rs 80,734: New Shades, Black Chrome & More
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched the new Honda Activa Limited Edition scooter in the country at Rs 80,734 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This exclusive Activa is available at all Honda Red Wing dealerships nationwide for a limited period.
That being said, HMSI has already commenced the bookings for the newly launched Honda Activa Limited Edition scooter. Furthermore, this new limited edition Activa is expected to attract more customers to the showrooms.
Tsutsumu Otani, the Managing Director, President & CEO of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, hailed the Activa as a game-changer in the Indian two-wheeler sector. Celebrating its two decades of success across all demographics in India, he voiced his belief that the all-new Activa Limited Edition will continue to captivate the public, particularly potential younger buyers.
The director of sales and marketing at HMSI, Mr. Yogesh Mathur, announced the Activa Limited Edition's launch prior to the festive season with a sense of delight. According to him, the new variant combines an attractive design with innovative features and a trustworthy engine. He reiterated HMSI's commitment towards exceeding consumer expectations by rolling out contemporary products that assure an unparalleled ownership experience.
In terms of design, the new Honda Activa Limited Edition flaunts an enhanced dark color scheme with touches of black chrome and eye-catching stripes on its body, which apparently is a first for Honda in India.
In fact, this new Black Chrome theme is even extended to the 'Activa' 3D badge as well. On top of that, the limited edition scooter also gets a dark finished rear grab rail, which neatly syncs with the scooter's dark body colour.
Catering to younger customers, the Honda Activa Limited Edition is offered in two shades - Matte Steel Black Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue. These colour options make the Activa Limited Editon look a bit more youthful.
Coming to the feature list, the DLX variant comes with alloy wheels, whereas the top-of-the-line variant features Honda's Smart Key. This Smart Key enables features such as Smart Unlock, Smart Start, Smart Find, and Smart Safe.
Powering the new Honda Activa Limited Edition is a BS6 OBD2-compliant PGM-FI engine that is identical to the standard Honda Activa scooter. This 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine produces 7.73bhp and 8.90Nm of torque.
Like most HMSI products, the newly launched Honda Activa Limited Edition also comes with a special warranty package lasting 10 years. This includes 3 year standard warranty and an optional 7-year warranty.
