Ducati Scrambler Motorcycle Range Launched In India At Rs 10.30 Lakh
Ducati recently unveiled the latest addition to its lineup, the brand-new Ducati Scrambler. This second-generation model showcases a more contemporary design and a livelier personality, catering to riders looking for a motorcycle that is unique, dynamic, and accessible for everyday use.
With prices starting at Rs 10,39,000 (Ex-Showroom India), Ducati has completely overhauled the Scrambler to leave a lasting impression on the global market. The new Ducati Scrambler embodies the core values that have made it a favourite among enthusiasts, namely simplicity and authenticity.

The bike retains its air-cooled twin-cylinder Desmodue engine, trellis frame, wide handlebars, and low centre of gravity while incorporating advanced electronics and a modern aesthetic. These enhancements result in three distinct models: the Icon, Full Throttle, and Nightshift.
All three bikes boast a relaxed riding position, lightweight construction, and provide riders of all skill levels with an exhilarating experience whether navigating city streets or embarking on exhilarating adventures. Bipul Chandra, the Managing Director of Ducati India, expressed his excitement about the launch, highlighting the new and improved features of the Scrambler Icon.
He emphasized the bike's cutting-edge handling, updated electronics, and the availability of three different variations: the cool and iconic Icon, the sporty Full Throttle, and the elegant Nightshift. Chandra believes that these Scramblers will rekindle the joy of motorcycling and exceed expectations in the Indian market.The Scrambler Icon, considered the quintessential Ducati Scrambler, has undergone significant design changes.
Customization is at the forefront with replaceable covers for the tank, fenders, wheels, and front headlight. The bike also offers a range of nine liveries, including three standard colours and six additional options available as accessory kits.
Other updates include a lower handlebar for improved control, a more comfortable seat for both the rider and passenger and sleek black side panels with Ducati Scrambler graphics. For riders who seek a sportier option, the Scrambler Full Throttle draws inspiration from U.S. flat-track racing.
Features such as side number plates, a shorter front fender, and tail without a rear fender contribute to its rugged aesthetic. The bike is equipped with a sport-look seat cover, a GP19 Red/Dark Stealth colour scheme, black finishing touches, and a Termignoni silencer.
It also includes a Rosso GP19 seat cover for a single-seat appearance and a more aggressive riding position. Lastly, the Nightshift model represents the epitome of elegance in the new Scrambler range. This bike showcases classic and refined details such as a café racer-style saddle in dark leather and a combination of glossy and matte surfaces.
It features side number plates, a minimal front fender, black finishes, compact LED turn signals, Nebula Blue colouring, spoked wheels finished in black, and a variable-section handlebar with café racer-style bar-end mirrors. The Ducati Scrambler's engine is an L-twin, two valves, air, and oil-cooled 803 cc unit. With updates such as Ride-by-Wire throttle control, the engine offers smooth acceleration at any speed.
The Scrambler Desmodue engine also incorporates a new clutch, an oil bath-based system derived from the Monster, and a bearing-mounted shift drum for precise and seamless shifting. The six-speed gearbox can be equipped with a quickshifter as an option on certain models.
In terms of the chassis, the Ducati Scrambler boasts a tubular steel trellis frame with a double upper beam and a bolted rear frame. The frame and chassis dimensions provide a relaxed and enjoyable ride while remaining agile in both city and mountainous terrains.
The suspension consists of a 41 mm upside-down fork and a shock absorber with adjustable spring preload, ensuring optimal performance regardless of road conditions. The bikes are equipped with new lightweight aluminium wheels and feature advanced braking systems for maximum safety.
In terms of style, the new Ducati Scrambler maintains its iconic design while receiving contemporary updates. Notably, the front DRL (Daytime Running Light) features a sharper and more elegant cut, and the front headlight is now equipped with full LED lighting while retaining the iconic "X" shape.
Similarly, the rear light has a new design with full LED illumination. The addition of a 4.3-inch colour TFT cluster provides riders with modern instrumentation and a user-friendly interface. The new Ducati Scrambler has undergone technical enhancements and reduced weight, resulting in a more agile and enjoyable riding experience.
The updated trellis frame and swingarm contribute to the overall weight reduction, while the improved steering angle enhances manoeuvrability in urban settings. The Desmodue engine has undergone weight reductions and is equipped with Ride by Wire throttle management, enhancing responsiveness and adaptability through two Riding Modes: Road and Wet.
Additional features of the new Ducati Scrambler include Cornering ABS, traction control with adjustable levels, Quick Shift up/down options, and compatibility with the Ducati Multimedia System for seamless smartphone integration.

The Scrambler Icon is priced at Rs 10,39,000 (Ex-Showroom India), while the Full Throttle and Nightshift models are priced at Rs 12,00,000 (Ex-Showroom India).
