IBW 2023: Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Showcased
2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R showcased at India Bike Week 2023. The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is expected to launch in India in the coming months.
The updated Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was unveiled last month at EICMA 2023 in Milan, Italy. The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R sports a redesigned front end, and a new TFT display while retaining its potent inline four-cylinder engine that has been updated to meet the latest emission norms.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R sports an updated fascia with new headlamps underneath which sit winglets that help with the aero profile of the middleweight supersport motorcycle.
At the heart of the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R is the 636cc, in-line four-cylinder engine that churns out an impressive 129bhp at 13,000rpm and 69Nm of peak torque at 10,800rpm. This potent powertrain is mated to a six-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless gear changes.
In addition to its robust engine, the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R comes equipped with a host of rider aids, including traction control, ride modes, ABS, and other safety features. The 4.3-inch colour TFT can connect to the rider's app through the Kawasaki Rideology app.
The 2024 Ninja ZX-6R's suspension setup includes Showa Separate Function forks (SFF-BP) at the front (120mm travel) and a gas-charged monoshock (150mm travel) at the rear, both offering rebound and compression damping as well as preload adjustability. The ZX-6R continues to sport an aluminium perimeter frame.
Braking duties are handled by dual 310mm front discs and a single 220mm rear disc, providing ample stopping power. The front discs are clamped down by radial-mounted, monobloc, opposed 4-piston callipers while the rear sports a single-piston calliper.
The 2024 Ninja ZX-6R rolls on 17-inch wheels which come with 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres to help the Supersport bike put down its potent power to the road.
Thoughts About The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
The 2024 Kawasaki ZX-6R made its Indian debut at India Bike Week ahead of its launch sometime in early 2024. The 2024 Ninja ZX-6R brings a host of upgrades and is expected to cost around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom) when it hits showrooms next year.
