Bollywood Actor Hrithik Roshan Teases All-New Hero Karizma Motorcycle With The Iconic ‘Cap-Lift’ Ad
The Hero Honda Karizma is an iconic motorcycle in India. The motorcycle continues to be a heartthrob for many 90's kids in the country. Now, ahead of the festive season, Hero MotoCorp once again partnered with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan to tease the upcoming iteration of the Karizma motorcycle.
On Instagram, Hrithik Roshan shared a small clip of the iconic 'Cap-lift' advertisement with the message "If the whispers are true, then the moment has arrived for me to embrace the Legend once more! Relive the Cap-Lift with #LiveTheLegend and tag @heromotocorp. Get ready for a legendary surprise!".
This advertisement not only created a deep impact on the younger generation of the time, but it allowed the company to transform the Karizma motorcycle into an icon of its generation.
With this new teaser, we can expect Hrithik Roshan to be part of the advertisement for the upcoming Hero Karizma motorcycle. On top of that, we can expect the model to be launched in the coming weeks to capitalise on the sales push during the festive season.
Earlier, Hero MotoCorp trademarked the name 'Karizma XMR'. As such, we expect this upcoming new motorcycle to be positioned as the company's new flagship model. Moreover, the model is expected to be underpinned by an all-new frame and also sport a completely new powertrain.
Moreover, the upcoming Hero Karizma will be a fully-faired motorcycle and some of the spy shots also confirm this. Other interesting details spotted in these spied images include clip-on handlebars, rear-set foot pegs, new lightweight alloy wheels, fairing-mounted rear view mirror, telescopic front suspension, and a mono rear shock absorber.
That being said, the new powertrain in the upcoming Hero Karizma motorcycle is expected to displace around 210cc. Moreover, we expect this motorcycle to feature a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled configuration with around 25bhp and 30Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, this engine is expected to come with a highway-friendly 6-speed gearbox.
Thoughts: We expect the upcoming iteration of the Hero Karizma motorcycle to be aggressively priced to attract younger riders. Moreover, we expect this upcoming new motorcycle to be launched before the festive season.
