Honda XL750 Transalp Launched In India At Rs 10.99 Lakh – Bookings Open For First 100 Customers
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched the all-new Honda XL750 Transalp adventure motorcycle in India at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Like most big-capacity motorcycles from Honda, the XL750 is also brought to India via the CBU route.
That being said, the new Honda XL750 Transalp is manufactured in Japan, and it will be sold exclusively through the brand's premium BigWing Topline dealerships in India. Also, bookings for the Honda XL750 Transalp is currently open for the first 100 customers only.

According to HMSI, the deliveries for the Honda XL750 Transalp will commence in November 2023. Also, it is yet to be known whether Honda will import more units of the XL750 Transalp adventure motorcycles to India.
Honda claims that the XL750 Transalp is equally at home traversing the harsh terrains of the Himalayas as well as commuting through rush hour traffic in an urban jungle. Colour options for the Honda XL750 Transalp include Ross White and Matter Ballistic Black.

Coming to the powertrain, the Honda XL750 transalp is powered by a 755cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crank. This engine is tuned to produce 90.51bhp and 75Nm of peak torque. Also, this engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Stand out features of this engine include Nickel-Silicon Carbide coating, Vortex flow ducts, throttle-by-wire tech, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), engine braking, and multiple ride modes. Ride modes include Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User.

Additional features include a 5.0-inch TFT display, Honda Smart Voice Control system (HSVCs), emergency stop signal, automatic turn signal cancelling, and more. Also, the TFT display shows the speedometer, tachometer, gear-position indicator, fuel gauge, fuel consumption, and other engine parameters.
In terms of hardware, the Honda XL750 Transalp comes equipped with a lightweight steel diamond frame, 43mm SFF-CA USD forks at the front, and a Pro-Link mono suspension at the rear. Braking duties include dual 310mm disc brakes at the front and a 256mm single disc brake at the rear.

The Honda XL750 Transalp is a very capable adventure-touring motorcycle and it will be suitable for anyone looking for a light yet powerful adventure motorcycle. That being said, the powertrain of the Honda XL750 Transalp could have been a bit more punchier.
